Background: At the beginning of 2020, a new pathogen named SARS-CoV-2 spread from China to globe, becoming responsible for potentially lethal acute respiratory syndrome: COVID-19. Direct contact and airborne contamination are most frequent infection ways SARS-CoV-2. During routine dental practice, transmission can occur through direct with mucous membranes, oral fluids, contaminated instruments or inhalation aerosol infected patients. Introduction: Tooth extraction often involves exposure blood use rubber dam could be indicated minimize decrease amount droplets around operatory field. The aim this clinical case is show how help in preventing minimizing COVID-19 during extraction. Materials Methods: A 32-year-old patient reported severe pain discomfort an upper first molar due deep carious lesion vertical tooth fracture.
